Today I’m sharing my review of Olay Masks Vitamin C + AHA Resurfacing Peel. I love a good skin peel as part of my skincare regimen. As someone who has large pores, combination skin, and at times hyperpigmentation from hormonal acne, peels have become my friends. Let’s see how this one performed on my skin. Olay Masks Vitamin C + AHA Resurfacing Peel Review
I ordered my product online from Target.com ( free shipping ). Let me just say that reading is fundamental because I honestly overlooked the details of the 4.2oz description on the website. So, I was a little bit shocked at the size of the box when it arrived. I was expecting the products to be a little larger than they actually are.
However, after using this I saw that I could probably squeeze out about 4 to 5 total applications with this. So, I’m satisfied with that.
This peel or face mask has a 2 step process which I found to be quick and easy. Plus, the instructions for application were really simple to follow making this perfect for those new to resurfacing skin peels. This one is really gentle.
The first step in the process requires applying the Olay mask to freshly washed and dried skin. Take care NOT to apply any moisturizer to your skin after washing. You may notice how dry or damaged your natural skin looks without moisture but a good resurfacing peel should take care of those issues.

*Tip: This peel may damage your manicure. It caused my nail polish to turn dull, soft, and peel up from the edges. So if you’d like to preserve your mani, use gloves.
Step 1 – Vitamin C Resurfacing Mask – This has a very pleasant smell to it. It’s kind of citrusy and the texture is similar to thick honey with super fine resurfacing particles (baking soda and silica silylate). It also has vitamins B3, C, and E.
The directions say to use a quarter-sized amount but I used more because I’m a rebel lol. You have to make sure to avoid your eye area and massage it in for 1 minute. I made sure to apply some under my chin as well because things weren’t looking too good under there.

Step 2 – AHA Peel Activator – You can be generous with the AHA activator. When you apply this over the mask it produces foam and you’ll feel a slight warming of your skin. But nothing uncomfortable at all. Just keep massaging for another minute and then rinse.
*Tip: Be sure to rinse well. Because the resurfacing particles are so fine, they can linger even if you feel you’ve done a good job of rinsing. So pay attention to hairlines and your neck area.

My Results and Review
Overall, I really like the Olay Masks Vitamin C + AHA Resurfacing Peel. To me, the products have a luxurious spa-quality feel to them and the price was reasonable compared to the number of resurfacing treatments you can get out of this set.
I am very pleased with how well they performed on my skin. I instantly felt the difference as soon as I began rinsing my face. This left me with much smoother skin. It felt like it had been buffed!
Plus, it was super supple. No drying out at all.
I’m very used to using light chemical peels on my skin and I can tell you that this peel is EXTRA gentle. I didn’t feel any irritation and afterward, there were no visible scratches, scars, or redness.
Price
The Olay Masks Vitamin C + AHA Resurfacing Peel retails for around $19.99. But, you can get it for less on Amazon here: https://naturallystellar.com/OlayVitCPeel

Skin became very dry…felt scabby as if it had burned —-hope it goes away..I have always like their products
Hi Callie,
Oh wow! Sorry it didn’t work out for you 🙁 Sounds like you may have had some sensitivity to it.
Will it get rid of or lighten brown spots?
It does for me. That’s not to say that it will for everyone but it’s one of the reasons why I use it as part of my maintenance routine.
Hi. How much does this make your skin peel ? And will it get rid of rised acne scars? Thank you.
This peel works to exfoliate the top layer of skin, it doesn’t actually cause your skin to “peel” as most chemical peels do. It works more like a scrub. I can’t speak to whether or not it will eliminate deep acne scars, I would suggest seeing a dermatologist or an esthetician if you have a lot of acne scars.
Do you rinse with facial soap after step 1 and 2? Or you just rinse with water?
Just water
I used the vitamin c resurfacing mask for the 1st time yesterday following up with olay retinol 24 and my skin is amazing can’t stop feeling my face so soft. Love it.
I’m so glad it worked out for you. I love how smooth my skin feels when I use it too.
Hi. Thank You for your review. I just wanted to know that can I use Olay retinol serum after using this Olay vit c+aha mask? If not then what should I use after this peel mask? I have a combination skin with some acne mark and fine lines. Some acne too . Thank you once again.
My skin is semi sensitive and acne prone as well. Go with a water based moisturizer or a serum with no acids or retinol. I like to use a collagen serum after using this scrub.
