Yup you heard that right. A $750 margarita. For most of us, we think we’re living it up with our endless inexpensive tacos and $5 margaritas on Cinco de Mayo. But there are some people out here (no seriously, real live people) downing drinks that cost more than the average working woman’s monthly car payment or day care expense.
For a mere $750, you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style with this uber luxurious Allair Royal Gold Margarita, created by Award-winning Mixologist Josue Gonzalez at the DÔA Miami Beach. Wanna treat your bff? Well, you can also purchase a pair of these cocktails for $1000 or get table side service for $2500.
What’s It Made Of…Gold?
Actually, yes it is. Let me break down this hella expensive masterpiece for you. The Allaire Royal Gold Margarita features premium Allaire Collection Privee Tequila served in a Waterford crystal margarita glass. Swanky right?! The salt on the rim is hand-harvested Sal de Ibiza Fleur de Sel (Spanish Sea Salt). For the final touches, it’s garnished with 24 carat gold flakes and a 24 carat gold encrusted lime wedge.
Oh and that’s not all. Service includes all of the materials used to create this opulent drink. Waterford crystal margarita glasses, 24k Thai elephant gold leaf, a silver-plated serving platter, gold-plated mixing spoon and gold-plated straws.
