Yeah, you could be lazy and just meet up at a restaurant like everyone else, but where’s the fun in that? How about you make the event personal, unique, and memorable. Brunches are a great way to start the day off right.
First, you have to convince your friend that has the coolest backyard, patio, or lounge area to have a girl’s day at her place. Then, once you’ve done that you’re halfway there!
Now everybody bring a dish and let’s get this summer started right!
You will be the hit of Girl’s Day when you come through with this super delectable crab dip and our SHEro, this Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Moscato.

Moscato is one of my favorite types of wines to either sip chilled straight or add to my cocktail recipes. I’m such a sweet and fruity wine kind of girl and Sutter Home is the perfect fit for that because they have a great selection to choose from.
For my recipe today I’m using what I feel is the perfect fruity summer wine, Sutter Home Pink Moscato.
Girl’s Day with Sutter Home
This wine has a really nice melon and passion fruit flavor so I knew it would be perfect for my cocktail recipe.
What I love the most about Sutter Home is not only are they an award-winning/family-owned brand, but they offer a wide variety of Moscato’s to suit just about everyone’s tastes.
So, if you have some girlfriends that enjoy more of a variety, they have a Moscato/Riesling, Moscato/Chardonnay, Moscato Blend, and both a Pink and Red Moscato.
In addition, you should have no problem finding these in your local Walmart or your local liquor store and they are always affordable. I paid $7.99 a pop for my bottles.

Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Moscato
Here’s what you’ll need to make the greatest summer drink EVER!!
- Chilled Sutter Home Pink Moscato
- 2 Trays of Frozen Pink Moscato Cubes
- Frozen Lemonade Concentrate
- 2 Cups Fresh Frozen Strawberries (Stems Removed)
- Fresh Lemon and Strawberries for garnish
Step 1 Freeze
To start, pour Pink Moscato into 2 ice cube trays and freeze for several hours or overnight. Wash and remove leaves/stems from strawberries with a paring knife.
Next, place strawberries into a freezer bag or plastic container and freeze for several hours or overnight. Be sure to save a few strawberries for garnish.
Step 2 Slice
Now, cut 1 lemon into thin round slices, removing any seeds. Lay a few strawberries (one for each glass) on their sides and slice 1/2 way up from the bottom. Set aside.
Step 3 Blend
Then, add all frozen ingredients to your favorite blender/mixer. Here, I’m using my Ninja Master Prep Pro Blender to pulse by hand. This blender makes excellent drinks and can even pulverize seeds.
Now, pour in about 1/2 cup to 1 cup (depending on your preference) of leftover chilled Pink Moscato and blend, blend, blend.
Step 4 Garnish
Next, add 1 sliced strawberry and lemon to each glass. Last but not least, drop in a decorative paper straw and serve. Yum!!
Step 5 Serve
