DreamFest Digital is a new virtual conference for aspiring, emerging and established entrepreneurial types. The goal of the conference is to propel people past just talking about their dreams, to actually living them.

This is a perfect conference match for me. Not only do I strive to support entrepreneurs as much as possible, on Naturally Stellar,  I’m also a serial entrepreneur. So I understand the mindset and I know this will help me to put my goals into perspective. I really need to get started on solid action plans to move some things forward.

To kick-off the start of DreamFest Digital 2016, I’ll be participating in a Twitter panel discussion about how small businesses can leverage blogging to grow their audience and customer base.  I’d love for you to be there. Sharing Some Of My Dreams

In 2017, I want to make sure my blog income is diversified.  My goal is to work my way up to a comfortable 5 figure income. But I realize I’m going to have to make some changes to the way I currently run my blog in order to do that. I need to make sure that I have multiple streams of income flowing from my blogging.  That means increasing ad revenue and having a good balance of sponsored content vs. my organic content. I want to have my own branded products for sale and increase my paid writing gigs on other publications.  I also want to continue branching out with my public speaking and event hosting.  Lastly, I’d like to start a series of courses on the business of blogging and some of my other personal interests.   

Oh but it doesn’t stop there!  Outside of blogging,  I’d like to immerse myself back into songwriting and music production. I’ve been in an on again, off again relationship with music for many years now and I’d like to finally leave that switch in the ON position.  Music is one of those things where if I’m distracted by life, I’ll just put it aside. I’ve built up quite a catalog of music over the years because of that and really haven’t done much with it.  I feel like I woke up a few weeks ago, after I finished recording part of a hook on someone else’s song.  It made me realize just how comfortable I am at creating and recording. I always have been.  It would be a shame to waste my talents and not use them to help support my family. So instead of dabbling here and there, I’m seriously going to make the business of making music a part of my income plan.
