Listen, any man worth his weight in good tacos and who wants to make love to a woman’s heart and mind will take her anywhere that makes her happy. Even if that means simply taking his wife to Restoration Hardware so she can walk around and fantasize about living in the roomscapes.
I Like Places That Make Me Dream
My hubby already knows I’m so no frills when it comes to our dates. I’m not extremely picky. I just want some good eats and an experience that feeds my soul or makes me laugh. That can mean dinner and a movie or an art crawl. Pretty much it’s whatever strikes our mood for the week.
Sometimes I get what I want. Sometimes he gets what he wants. But the key is making sure that we both understand what fuels us and makes each other happy. Then date night becomes much easier to figure out and plan for.
Why I Love Restoration Hardware For Date Night
What mesmerizes me about this place is the creativity and imagination of the spaces. Interior design is more than just a skill. To me, it’s art.
To be able to take a group of pieces, textures, colors, and moods and put it all together masterfully like a symphony. That always impresses me.
I can dream in this place. I can get creative ideas just walking around. I can also exhale and relax in beautiful spaces.
That’s why I think I love their rooftop experience so much too. The Hubbs and I can just chill and talk about whatever, in our child-freeness.
Restoration Hardware in Nashville is 4 floors of beautiful room layouts and home furnishings in a gallery setting. It’s a touchable showroom museum of interior design. They offer in-store professional design services and in the middle of it all is a gorgeous restaurant (RH Cafe), Wine Vault and Barista Bar on the 1st floor.
It’s like walking around in your dream house for a few moments (or in my case, hours).
Which is probably why I never want to leave. Because then it’s back to reality after we pick the kids up from child care and head back to our house.
