FEKKAI Shea Butter Intense Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner
The Shea Butter Intense Moisture Shampoo cleanses curly, wavy, and afro-textured hair without stripping it of natural oils. All you have to do is lather, rinse and repeat.
Shea butter Intense Moisture Conditioner with Monoi Oil drenches your hair with moisture without weighing down your strands. According to the brand, the benefits include restoring damaged hair, lasting hydration, taming frizz, reducing split ends, reinforcing the hair, and added shine.
You simply apply this from ends to roots after your normal wash. You can also leave it on under a plastic cap and apply heat for 15 minutes to further penetrate. Then just rinse with cool water.
Shea Butter Intense Mask
For natural hair, it’s all about deep penetrating moisture. Well, the new Intense Mask is a vegan, silicone-free mask formulated to deeply condition, moisturize and soften natural textures.
So here’s what’s in it. You’ll find shea butter, monoi oil, murumuru seed butter (strength & flexibility), botanical extracts (extra hydration), phospholipids (to repair and restore), and FEKKAI’s own Environmental Protection Complex (B5, rice protein, and edelweiss flower extract), to protect your hair from the elements and heat.
The formula is really thick and creamy. You can use it as a deep conditioner, leave-in, or overnight mask. It can also be applied before exposure to the sun/swimming pool. This mask comes in both a 7.5 oz. jar or 2 oz. travel size.
Shea Butter Defining Gel & Curl Refresh
Fekkai Shea Butter Defining Gel is a cream-gel packed with shea butter, monoi oil, and jojoba esters. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals to strengthen and seal in moisture.
It is said to be non-sticky, non-flaking, and non-drying.
This can be used on dry or damp hair. For sculpted/defined styles apply to damp hair for longer-lasting definition.
Shea Butter Curl Refresh
Is a light spray designed to add shine, hydrate, and refresh your curls throughout the week. Use this spray days after your wash to keep your hair moist and defined without the added weight.
This is specifically for afro textures and thick or coarse hair.
Shea Butter Intense Oil
This hair oil may only have 10% shea oil but the rest is a mixture of hair and body-loving oils and botanical extracts. Some of what you’ll find in it are castor oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, jojoba, rice bran extract, rosemary, and vitamin E.
You can get all of these products in travel sizes or grab a mini bundle of shampoo, conditioner, and mask.

I tried a few of the products out to see how they would perform on my type 4 natural hair. My hair has a combo of dense kinky and coily textures with super fine strands. So I have to be careful about breakage and having too much protein in my products.
I tried the shampoo, conditioner, deep mask, and curl refresher spray. I’m pleased with how they performed on my hair. The smell of the products was pleasant, not overbearing or musky as I’ve seen in other reviews.
I did notice that the shampoo felt much like a clarifying shampoo. My hair felt squeaky clean and light after washing. So, I was worried that it may have stripped my hair. But after applying the conditioner and deep mask, it felt super soft and moisturized.
After I got out of the shower and took off my silk scarf (which I use to drip dry my hair) I noticed that it was really shiny and airy. So, these aren’t conditioners that will weigh your hair down. They just do the job.
I use the L.O.C. method, so I always add a leave-in conditioner and oil to my hair after washing. The only styling product I used after these was some “Let’s Jam” gel to smooth down my edges for my style.
I wore my hair up in a faux bun with added Marley braid hair, that I tend to take down at night. My next day hair felt really soft and still moisturized. On days 2 and 3 I used the curl refresher spray. It worked really well to soften m hair and give it some shine.
If you have fine natural hair, curly/coily hair, or issues with dryness, breakage, or product build-up, I recommend this collection. My highest recommendation would be to buy the Shea Butter Intense Mask.
Well, I hope I gave you enough info so you can determine if this collection may be right for you. If you have any questions or comments about anything you see here drop them in the comment section!
