PinShare2TweetShareEmail2 SharesSometimes we need a little inspiration to get our creative juices flowing. When it comes to fall home decor, I like to go inside my favorite home decor spots to spark ideas. Today, I’m taking you inside Kirkland’s so we can spy on their fall displays. So, last Friday night I headed out to a fun in-store shopping event sponsored by Kirkland’s and BloggerXchange. It was a chance to get out and shop while enjoying the good company of other area influencers and to try some delectable treats from local Nashville businesses.I arrived a bit late so I missed out on the cool goodie bags they gave out. My friend showed me what was inside hers and I’m so mad I didn’t make it in time. From what I can remember, there was a cute wine tumbler, a fancy clipboard and a nice sized metallic pumpkin in the bag. All of that was totally my bad. I bet you next time I’ll be there in Oprah time, not Lauryn Hill time LOL! Why I Love Window Shopping For Fall Home Decor IdeasI love Kirkland’s. It’s a great place to go to get some home decor inspiration, especially if you’re not a whiz at staging rooms in your home. Most of the time, my struggles center around color schemes and what small decorative items will look good with what I already have around the house. So just to give you a few ideas of what you can do around your home for the fall, I went ahead and scoped out some things in Kirkland’s for you, while I was there. Let me know what you think or what catches your eye! When I go into the store, I’m paying close attention to how things are displayed and seeing how I could incorporate those same ideas into the rooms of my apartment. I’m specifically interested in how to cluster small items like these together and what color combo’s work best together.I saw a lot of traditional fall colors like reds, oranges, browns, and yellows. But I also saw a lot of spring pastels mixed in with the traditional. Like these metallic pumpkins above. I think the combinations look great together and it gives you an opportunity to pull out your spring colors and mix with a few new fall pieces for a unique look. Now, I don’t really go all out for the seasons. But I do like to buy a few items here and there. Things that I can mix and match throughout the year to switch things up or totally redecorate a room. This summer, I mostly focused on brightening up my dining area. I went online and bought some new curtains, rods and seat covers. Just those few items really made a huge difference too! It doesn’t take much. Where You Will Likely Find Me In A Home Decor StoreAnother great thing about home decor stores is all of the comfy seating options. I found this dope spot to take a little siesta and a quick selfie.I hope these displays have sparked some ideas for you. I’d love to see some of your fall decorating skills.
