Clever Life Hacks You Should Know
Life Hack #1: Pump Milk and Sleep Hands Free
Next week, Dao Health is going to announce & introduce the first breast pump designed to give moms mobility while helping us to catch some zzz’s during pumping.
“We know that the normal release of hormones during the milk letdown reflex can make moms sleepy. When breastfeeding, many mothers fall asleep with their babies. Now mothers can do the same thing naturally with the Freemie milk collection system since our cups are hands free and so comfortable,” Stella Dao, MD, Freemie inventor and co-founder.
Freemie Liberty is a compact, rechargeable hospital strength pump. It’s a closed system version of the popular Freemie cups, which don’t require the use of any disposables. With the Freemie Liberty, you can make this pump unique to you with more than a hundred different settings, and three different programmable memory buttons. You can even save your favorite settings for easy one touch access. It’s easy to assemble and clean. The pump so compact that it can fit in a small bag or pocket, and includes a detachable belt clip.
If you’re embarrassed or concerned about noise, this pump has patent-pending noise reduction technology, which makes it unnoticeable over the background noise of most environments.
The Freemie Liberty Breast Pump will be available at US-based big box retailers and online starting this month. International markets can expect to see it arrive at the end of the first quarter 2018.
The retail price will be around $300
There is also a less expensive version called the Freemie Independence Mobile Breast Pump (fewer features/hospital grade) which will also be available through major US insurance providers beginning in January or early February 2018.
I wish I had known about this brand back when I was breastfeeding. It could have been a game changer for me.
