Pin3Share4TweetShareEmail7 SharesI’m really excited about today’s review because I think it will be a game changer for all of you parents, approaching or in the process of helping your babies transition to a big girl/big boy bed. Let me introduce you to the Newton Wovenaire breathable crib mattress.I received this product at no cost to help facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own. My Concerns As A ParentOne of the concerns I have with my daughter transitioning from her portable crib to a toddler bed is the safety of her mattress. Prior to our move a few months ago, we lived in a pretty small apartment, so my daughter shared a room with the hubby and I. Well that meant she couldn’t have a full-sized crib, so she’s been sleeping in her portable crib or play yard. As she grew, we upgraded her sleep pad to a 5 inch thick mattress to make it more comfortable. But as you can see, it has been through the ringer and she somehow managed to rip it. I’m thinking it happened from jumping on the bed or biting her mattress. Old mattress is damaged from use and not breathable for stomach sleepers.I’ve also had constant worries about her suffocating because she prefers to lay on her stomach, when she sleeps. Another thing that bothered me about her play yard mattress is, sometimes at night she’d overheat and her clothes and sheets would be damp with sweat. So, I was happy to get a chance to try out the Newton Wovenaire Crib Mattress. This opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time!
