Sinful Colors Walgreen’s Haul. (c) 2012 All rights reserved naturallystellar.wordpress.com

So I just found out last night on Twitter that Walgreen’s is running a sale of .99 cents on all Sinful Colors Professional Polishes.

So what would any respectful polish fiend do with that news? They’d hop, skip and jump to the nearest store to start hoarding bottles like I did.

As I walked through the sliding doors I could hear angels singing and the beauty aisle even looked a little brighter than usual. It was majestic.

While there, I managed to snag 10 new fall colors to add to my growing collection. In hindsight, I wish I had grabbed a few more, but let’s not be greedy.

I’ve never been much of a girly girl and only occasionally paid attention to my nails before this past Spring.  I had been an avid nail biter, a habit that I’ve had most of my life. The only way I could stop biting for prolonged periods was to put on acrylics, and I couldn’t stand the way my nails looked when they came off.  Doing manicures now is my way of creating a positive habit and stop biting my nails.

Today I had to laugh at myself because never in a million years would I have imagined how obsessed I’d become over some nail polish.

I confess I am a Sinful Colors-aholic.

Here’s what I snagged (from Left to Right):

  • Precious Metal 1152
  • Mesmerize 1128
  • Ciao Bella 989   (My Personal Favorite)
  • Exotic Green 1105
  • Moss Have 1149

In different lighting, you can see the pigment much better.

These really are some great fall colors and I can’t wait to try them & post my pics. In fact, I’m thinking of some cool color combinations as I type. If you hit the Walgreen’s sale, let me know what you got.

P.S.  They also had some Sally Hansen Insta Dry Colors on sale (I can’t remember the sale price…sorry) , Xtreme Hard as Nails on sale for 2 for $5 or 1 for $2.79 .  I also saw that Essie was on sale for $8.00 each

If you can’t make it to the store, I checked their website, you can catch the sale prices online too at Walgreens.com, but the options may differ a little.
