PinShareTweetShareEmail0 SharesI’m really not a morning person. I wish I could just wake up all excited & chipper, ready to take on the day, but I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I’ve felt that way. Until a magical day came last week when my son started his first day of Pre-K. Thank you Lawd!! (Calms down & regains composure).Sinful Colors Rise and ShineThe perfect polish for the perfect morning…As I wisk him off to another full day of preschool I’ll be heading there with an extra pep in my step, a smile on my face & a gorgeous mani. Time for another manicure, this time featuring Sinful Colors Rise and Shine.Photo Credit, Amazon.comThis color must be pretty popular as of late because it took me a few weeks to find it in local stores. I wasn’t very pleased with how it looked initially minus a glossy top coat. After drying over my base of Sallie Hansen’s Double Duty Base & Top Coat, I noticed it dried to an ugly matte, which kind of surprised me given the bottle didn’t indicate it had a matte finish and normally I only need to apply 2 coats of this brands color. Not to mention, the color you see up close through the bottle has a really pretty shimmer to it. I’m not sure if maybe the combination of my base & this particular polish had anything to do with the outcome, but I felt a little duped.(c) 2012 Naturally StellarTo remedy the ugly nail situation I simply stroked on a top coat of SH’s Insta Dri in Clear. It has high shine & really does dry super fast. The end results are nothing short of Mahhhvelous!(c) 2012 Naturally StellarAs I stated in previous posts, you can grab your own from Target at $1.99 a pop. This is not at all “cheap” polish. I have been awed by the quality of this polish line given the very inexpensive pricetag.Various angles & lighting. Bottom right, image is likely the most accurate depiction of color shown online (in my opinion).(c) 2012 Naturally StellarUntil next time, keep shining!
