Tweet Share2 Pin11 Stumble1 Share1 +11Shares 16 When it comes to skin creams, do you feel that department store brands work better than drug store brands? I used to believe they did. I mean they wouldn’t be found in a department store if they weren’t the best right? Well what if I showed you a study that proved that you don’t need to spend a lot on hydrating skin creams to get great results. Thanks to Olay for sponsoring today’s post. I received compensation and free product to facilitate my review. All opinions are 100% mine. #ageless #ad Well, I’m all about showing the “receipts” with my beauty products. I don’t want to see smoke and mirrors, I want proof that a product works before I go spend my hard-earned money on it. I’m also a firm believer that high prices don’t always equate to quality. In fact, some of my favorite beauty products can be found right at my local drugstore. Which is why I decided to try Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream and put it to the test. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream, best against 10 department store creams. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Review I still get excited when people can’t tell how old I am, or when I get carded before entering hotspots around Nashville. We all want to be forever young, right? But I’m beginning to see some fine lines that weren’t there before and a few other signs that my skin is starting to age. Super slowly, but surely. I don’t see signs of wrinkles but I do have little smile lines around my eyes that I’d like to keep under control. So, overall, I’m satisfied with my skin but I know my hydration needs a boost. Before – bare-faced after washing, no moisturizer. Visible fine lines and dull appearance. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream has been rated as the best, against 10 prestigious skin creams found in most department stores. Olay’s #1 selling anti-aging moisturizer outranked them all in 4 key areas Long-lasting hydration Lightweight texture Firming & plumping ingredients Fast action Check out the full results of the Good Housekeeping Institute Study. How I use my Olay Micro Sculpting Cream everyday I’ve been applying my Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream shortly after washing my face in the morning and again after washing in the evening. One of my favorite beauty tips I’ve learned is to always apply moisturizer to damp skin. So after I wash my face, I like to take a damp warm wash cloth and pat it gently all over my face. Then I apply my moisturizer. This method allows the moisturizer to penetrate deeper into the skin. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream, best against 10 department store skin creams. Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream is ultra rich and creamy but it goes on light. How Does It Feel? I love how rich and creamy this is. It feels luxurious going on and the smell is really light and pleasant. Ladies, we all know how important it is to keep our skin moisturized for ageless beauty and I can tell you this skin cream from Olay has excellent hydration! I love how plump and moisturized my skin feels even hours after putting it on. It leaves absolutely no oily or greasy feel, just soft hydrated skin. This picture is immediately after using Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting skin cream Even the little lines around my eyes are starting to obey. I am loving this! Oh yes! It’s time to fight back against aging skin and the key is hydration. We no longer have to pay for pricey department store creams to get what we want. Plus, no more struggling with trial and error to find the right skin cream that works for our skin. Olay has proven to be a skin care leader worldwide and trusted by women for more than 60 years. I can’t wait to see my week 4 results! Are you ready to give Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream a try? This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay. Thanks for sharing! Reply Candice S. July 6, 2017 That hasn’t been my experience. I’m all about budget beauty but I’ve tried creams that cost way less than this one as well as those that cost much more or were considered popular and none of those compare to the results I’ve seen with the Olay. Reply The Glitter Gospel (@laceyannedoutha) July 5, 2017 I think you can always find a good high and low priced option! It’s all about trial and error! Your skin looks awesome! Reply Candice S. I may have to give it a try myself! xo, Lily Beauty With Lily Reply Candice S. July 19, 2017 Let me know what you think of it when you do Lily. Reply Channing July 3, 2017 I used to never wear moisturizer because I have really oily skin so I thought that it would make it oiler but it actually did the opposite, it kept my oily under control. I wish I had known about it sooner so I would have better skin but better late than never I guess lol Reply Candice S. July 5, 2017 You’re not alone. That’s a common issue among those of us with oily skin. I used to stay away from wearing foundation because everything I tried was oil based and made me shine like glass lol. But now I know better. Reply Lecy | A Simpler Grace July 3, 2017 I keep seeing this and have wanted to pick it up. I am all about trying new skincare! 🙂 Reply Candice S. July 5, 2017 I went to Blogher this year and they were giving this away as beauty samples. I grabbed a few for family and friends. I’m absolutely loving this cream. I’m just sad that I didn’t try it sooner. Reply Rachel G July 3, 2017 I know my mom uses this cream! It’s probably about time for me to start looking into products like this, too! 🙂 Reply Candice S. July 5, 2017 It’s never too early to start. Reply Tai Williams June 23, 2017 I meant hydra boost water gel for oily skin…. Reply Tai Williams June 23, 2017 See now I have to get that too lol. I’m not reading your blog anymore! I’ve been using the Neutrogena HydraGel but my skin still looks dull. I’m going to switch. Price point is about the same. Reply Candice S. July 5, 2017 This one works great on my skin. You still would have to use an eye cream safe for use around the eyes, before or after this. I’ve been using Vichy for that. This cream has my melanin poppin’! Reply Hey Rock Star! Drop Your Two Cents Cancel reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.
