Yaaayyy!! It’s another Frugal Friday and I’m featuring a few of my newest and absolute favorite beauty product finds for the Summer.

I just love visiting my parents, because my mom is the QUEEN of beauty products, HSN & QVC.  I find so many new beauty finds & new collections just by visiting my mom’s bathroom stash 😀

PH Balanced Moisture Gel – Neutrlab’s Cocoa Curls. The Bomb DOT com…people!

The first item up is this wonderful Curl Jelly from Neutrlab (Courtesy of Mom’s hair product stash) called Cocoa Curls.  I am so glad I decided to try this because my hair has felt nothing but moisture and love from this jar.  I never heard of this brand before but I’m glad I came across it. If you have naturally thick, dense curls like I do, this may be just the thing to help you with frizz, dryness, hold & luster throughout the year.

The summer months have been very HOT in the south & very drying to my hair.  These 90 degree days were killing my strands. Since the 1st day I started using this, my hair has stayed soft & moisturized.  This gives me a nice soft hold, which has allowed me to keep it twisted and protected from the sun each day without the worry of dryness or frizz.

The jar says it’s a High Definition Moisture Gel that’s PH balanced and ultra light, but IMO it’s a little heavy. Exactly what my thirsty hair needed.  Thank you Neutrlab for making Cocoa Curls!

My mom bought her jar from her local beauty supply for $6.99, but you can also buy it on Amazon or at online beauty supplies: http://www.amazon.com/Neutrlab-Cocoa-Definition-Moisture-Ounce/dp/B00A7EY7QM

FACE

Next up is this “compare” product from Equate Beauty (Walmart’s Beauty Brand) called Age Resisting Classic Cleanser.   It’s to be compared with Olay Age Defying Classic Cleanser.   I bought my cleanser from Walmart for $3.69.  The Olay brand was about $5, so I opted for this one just to save a little cash.

I’ve been using the Equate Brand morning & night along with a Rite Aid Brand facial brush system (Also courtesy of Mom’s stash). So basically I wet my face, apply about 3 pumps of cleanser to my palms and apply it all over my face. Then I use the motorized brush with the smallest facial brush attachment, to massage my face for 1 or 2 minutes, then I rinse.

My face & neck feels so soft, smooth & looks radiant.  It really does feel & look more youthful.

As you might already know, I’m very acne prone with sensitive skin. Almost everything I use on my face has to be mild, fragrance free or oil free. –  That is unless I’m specifically using the Oil Cleansing Method to cleanse my face.

Compare to Olay Age Defying Cleanser. https://naturallystellar.com

If the compare brand works this great, I’m SO looking forward to trying the real thing from Olay.  Olay is definitely a brand that I trust with my both my face & body.

NAILS

My last feature is this Pink Armor Nail Gel.  The bottle says it Strengthens, Brightens & Nourishes. I’m pretty sure my Mom bought this one from a TV infomercial.

Retails for $10. https://naturallystellar.com

I’ve been using this under my mani’s as a basecoat.  I’m not sure how much it has “Brightened”, but my natural nails are stronger with this applied and healthy looking.   The consistency of this gel is a little thinner than my normal Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat but it hardens just as strong.  Although the color in the bottle is Pink, it doesn’t dry with a pink finish (at least not on my nail beds). It’s clear.

Bottle Directions: Apply Pink Armor directly to your natural nail.  You can recoat over dry Pink Armor at anytime. Remove once weekly with any nail polish remover.

This bottle retails for about $10 online.  You can find Pink Armor Nail Gel at Drugstore.com, Amazon, Ebay or Walgreen’s.

Hope you try some of these beauty products and love them as much as I do.    Enjoy Your Summer Stars!
