Tweet Share Pin1 Stumble Share +1Shares 1 This week I’m linking up with The Nail Files. My Memorial Day Moody Manicure is featuring Wet n Wild. I have to admit I haven’t worn Wet n Wild nail polish in a LOOOOOONG time. I stopped in to my local CVS a few days ago to see if I could spot some Sinful Shine, which I couldn’t find. When I asked the Sales Clerk in the beauty section …does CVS carry Sinful Colors or Sinful Shine? She looked at me like I was crazy. I didn’t realize it was exclusive to Walgreen’s until I researched online later. But Ah Well. Good thing I came in anyway because they have a great Memorial Day Sale with Buy 1 Get 1 50% off on all Wet n Wild Polishes. I was able to score 2 Fast Dry’s, 1 Wild Shine and a really pretty coral Megalast. This is my first time trying their Fast Dry Polishes. I can tell you that from my experience with this mani, you will require at least 3 coats. Although it does dry to the point of becoming touchable (quicker than most), expect to do daily applications of a top coat to smooth out imperfections. The images in this post are my Day 2 after a retouch of top coat. For some reason overnight while I slept my nails must have been pressed against my comforter and came out with little ridges and impressions in them the next day. I thought that was strange considering that my nails were fully dry with top coat before I went to bed at 2 a.m. (I did my mani earlier that afternoon around 4:30 p.m. or so). But anyway a light topcoat made them brand new and camera ready. Polishes Used in this Moody Manicure: Wet ‘n Wild – FuschiaRama – Fast Dry $1.99 CVS Wet ‘n Wild – Sparkled – Wild Shine $1.99 CVS (BOGO 50% off $.99) Sally Hansen – Double Duty Base/Top Coat $3.59 Target I’m not sure if CVS is running the same special online but if you click on the CVS name above it’ll take you to their Fast Dry polish page so you can purchase some of their hard to find colors. The particular colors I’m featuring can be purchased on Drugstore.com (Fast Dry) and here on Drugstore.com for the Wild Shine – Sparkled…It’s only $.99!! I love this polish! Wild Shine – Sparkled is a clear base filled with tiny pink & silver glitter dust. It’s really pretty and “Blingy”. I thought it would pair great with FuschiaRama. Although I decided to just do a couple of accent nails this time, I’m sure this would look great on its own. So what do your nails look like this Memorial Day?
